OUTFITPOST: A DAY ON THE BEACH

ENG: Yesterday I celebrated my mom's birthday on the beach. The weather was beautiful and it was so good to spent time with my family. In the evening we want out for dinner in Amsterdam and of course I ate a part of the birthday cake as dessert. Today the weather is horrible, it is raining all the time and I am still working in my bed at the moment. Yesterday's pictures reminded me to an amazing sunny family day on the beach. What I was wearing? I chose to wear my new sandals which I bought in sale in combination with my leather white Supertrash dress and light blue sunnies. I have to go back to work! I keep you posted! 

NL: Gister vierde ik de verjaardag van mijn lieve moeder aan het strand. Het was echt prachtig weer en het voelde zo goed om tijd door te brengen met mijn familie. Na een heerlijke dag zon besloten we naar Amsterdam te gaan om een hapje te eten bij restaurant Le Garage. Natuurlijk was het aan het eind van de avond tijd voor een heuse verjaardag taart met vuurwerk.  Vandaag is het echt vreselijk weer, het regent en ik lig nog steeds in bed (te werken hoor!). Deze foto's laten mij weer even terug denken aan de zonnige dag zoals die gister was. Wat droeg ik gister naar het strand? Ik koos voor mijn nieuwe sandaaltjes die ik kocht in de sale bij Zara in combinatie met mijn witte leren jurkje van Supertrash en licht blauwe zonnebril. Ik ga weer snel aan het werk. Ik hou jullie op de hoogte!

EVENT: D&G BIKE MY CITY AMSTERDAM

NL: Speciaal voor Amsterdam ontwierp Dolce&Gabbana twintig gelimiteerde luipaard fietsen. Vorige week donderdag kreeg ik de kans om samen met een klein groepje bloggers de fiets uit te proberen. Twee jaar geleden, tijdens de Designweek, werd het concept Bike my City by D&G gelanceerd in Milaan en nu was het dan eindelijk tijd voor Amsterdam. Samen met Linda Tol, Mimi Nizan, Evelien Tomaszewski, Tess van Daelen, Janine Kho-Breukhoven en Natasha Slater croste ik op mijn hippe luipaard fiets door Amsterdam. Natuurlijk konden we het niet laten om even heel toeristisch een groepsfoto te maken voor het Rijksmuseum. Dit was natuurlijk extra leuk! Na de tour kregen we een schattige luipaard bidon en gekleurde lipstick, Happy me! De rest van de avond heb ik genoten van de lekkere cocktails en gedanst op de muziek van DJ Covergirl Sunny. Het was weer een top avondje! Wat vind jij van de gelimiteerde luipaard D&G fietsen? 

ENG: Last Thursday I took part in the Dolce&Gabbana event to celebrate the release of their limited edition bicycle: Bike My City by D&G Amsterdam. The event consisted in cycling around Amsterdam (especially around Rijksmuseum) on D&G leopard bikes. I was in the group with Linda Tol, Mimi Nizan, Evelien Tomaszewski,  Tess van Daelen, Janine Kho- Breukhoven and Natasha Slater. We had a lot of fun and we took a lot of attention with our bikes. At the end of the tour we got a very cute leopard bidon and lipstick. Afterwards I enjoyed a delicious cocktail and danced the evening away on the beats of Covergirl Sunny. HOTEL HOTSPOT: MERCURE ARTHUR FROMMER AMSTERDAM

ENG: Goodmorning from my lovely bed. I just woke up after an amazing night watching the Dutch soccer game in my own city. I was so nervous and excited at the same time. Luckily we Dutchies dit it again! We won!! Anyway, back to my post now. Today I want to share with you a new outfit but I also want to tell you more about my experiences at Mercure Arthur Frommer hotel in Amsterdam. Last Wednesday I was invited to try out one of their hotel rooms. The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam. In a small street behind Weteringcircuit you will find the hotel. I stayed in a junior suite and even got breakfast in bed. Lucky me, right? Anyway, hotel Mercure Arthur Frommer offers hotel bikes which makes you able to discover the city very easily. I crossed through the city of Amsterdam and had lot of fun! Oh and the weather is quite good at the moment so I chose to wear my leather skort, white shirt and Nike Air Max. Perfect right? I have to go out of my bed now! I keep you posted! 

NL: Goedemorgen vanuit mijn heerlijke bed! Ik word net wakker na een super leuke avond in de stad. Gister was het natuurlijk tijd voor de kwart finale en jemig wat was ik nerveus en gespannen! Gelukkig hadden we het weer geflikt, het Nederlandse team won! Anyway, terug naar de de post. Vandaag deel ik met jullie mijn outfit, maar wil ik jullie ook meer vertellen over mijn ervaringen bij Mercure Arthur Frommer hotel in Amsterdam. Dit hotel is midden in Amsterdam gevestigd. In een klein straatje achter het Wetering circuit vind je dit schattige kleine, maar ook gezellige hotel. Ik kreeg de kans om een junior suite uit te proberen (niet slecht toch) en kreeg in de ochtend zelfs ontbijt op bed. Je snapt wel dat ik mij even een klein prinsesje voelde. Naast de hotel faciliteiten biedt het hotel fietsen aan die het mogelijk maken om Amsterdam te verkennen. Zelf had ik een dag een fiets tot mijn beschikking en het is echt ideaal. Het hotel ligt centraal en met de fiets ben je overal binnen ongeveer 10 min. Het weer was ook nog eens mooi! Dubbel geluk dus! Wat ik aan had? Ik koos voor mijn zwarte shorts, witte shirt en Nike Air Max. Perfect toch? Ik moet nu echt opstaan, aankleden en opschieten. Ik hou jullie op de hoogte!

EVENT: LEVI'S DIY FESTIVAL

ENG: Last Wednesday after some drinks with Elise of the webshop ModeMusthaves at Palladium we went together to the Levi's Festival event. It was the perfect weather for a festival like this. When we arrive in the garden of Levi's, Emanuelle Vos is already playing some good music behind the DJ booth. Many bloggers are busy with customizing their Levi's 501 shorts. Levi's PR babe Sarah comes directly to me and hugs me! She is explaining everything about the evening to us. We decide to begin at the Curryup.nl food corner where we enjoy a delicious meetballs curry. Afterwards it is time for our Levi's Do It Yourself. To be honest with you I am not that creative and it hard for me to make choices and decisions. So if you put me to a table with 1000s of DIY options, I get crazy! Just joking, but you know what I mean right? Anyway, luckily I went with the creative Elise who helps me with my shorts (see pic2.).  All in all I had an amazing evening with delicious cocktails, bites and good music. Next Wednesday again guys? 

NL: Vorige week woensdag na een drankje te hebben gedronken met Elise van de webshop ModeMusthaves bij Palladium besloten wij samen naar het Levi's Festival event te gaan. Wanneer we aankomen is het druk in de tuin van Levi's. DJ Emanuelle Vos draait al heerlijke vrouwen beats en meteen heb ik zin om los te gaan.  We zijn nog niet binnen of Levi's PR babe Sarah komt al op mij afspringen. " Ben je er nu pas, chlo!". Ik moet lachen om haar hysterische gedrag, " Sorry, Sarah je kent mij, ik ben meestal fashionable late!". Sarah legt het avond programma uit en Elise en ik besluiten eerst even een hapje te eten bij de Curryup.nl stand. Daarna is het tijd voor het DIY 501shorts project. Eerlijk, ik ben niet super creatief en kan daarnaast moeilijk besluiten en beslissingen maken. Je snapt dus wel wanneer je mij voor een DIY tafel zet met 1000 opties ik helemaal gek word. Gelukkig had ik de creatieveling Elise mee, die mij wel wilde helpen met mijn shorts (zie foto2). Uiteindelijk heb ik echt een super avond gehad met heerlijke cocktails, hapjes en goede muziek. Volgend week woensdag weer meiden?

NL: Goedemorgen vanuit Mercure Amsterdam Arthur Frommer hotel. Gister was ik al in Amsterdam voor het Levi's festival event en de openingsborrel van Amsterdam Fashionweek en vandaag ren ik weer van hot  naar her. Meer hierover natuurlijk snel op de blog! Vandaag deel ik met jullie een nieuwe outfit. In deze outfit draag ik mijn nieuwe pailletten jasje die ik kocht bij Primark in Londen. Ik vind hem echt super leuk en tegelijkertijd ook feestelijk. Ik combineerde het jasje met mijn witte skort, open shiny sandaaltjes en witte cropped trui. De perfecte outfit voor een mooie zomerdag toch? Ik ga gauw ontbijten! Ik hou jullie sowieso op de hoogte! OUTFITPOST: HOW TO WEAR LEATHER GLOVES PART I

NL: We wachten met smart op de zomer terwijl ik vandaag leren handschoenen post op de blog. Het Nederlandse weer is onvoorspelbaar en we kunnen niet vroeg genoeg beginnen met nadenken over de winter collectie. Begrijp mij niet verkeerd, ik hoop dat er nog heel veel zomer dagen gaan komen, dat ik vanaf volgende week ieder weekend naar het strand kan en tot eind september met blote benen kan lopen, maar een paar goede leren handschoenen is natuurlijk nooit weg. Een paar weken geleden kreeg ik een mailtje van Laimbock over hun nog niet gelanceerde jongeren lijn LMBK young by Laimbock. Ik ken Laimbock al een tijdje en vind hun handschoenen prachtig, alleen zijn ze soms net iets te ouderlijk of te duur. De nieuwste lijn van Laimbock brengt daar verandering in, deze lijn is  speciaal gemaakt voor „ The Young People”, wij dus! Bij de lancering werd ik meteen verliefd! Naast deze zwarte leren handschoenen met bedrukt motief zijn er voor aankomende winter ook super leuke andere printjes verkrijgbaar. De aankomende weken ga  ik speciaal voor jullie diverse leren handschoenen  uit de LMBK Young collectie combineren in drie verschillende posts. Dit doe ik samen met een aantal andere bloggers. De blogger met de meeste likes (op de Facebook page van LMBK Young) op de drie looks wint een reis naar Berlijn. Natuurlijk wil ik super graag winnen. ENG: For an entire year, we have been waiting for the summer season to arrive and when it’s finally there, I post an outfit with leather gloves on the blog. The weather in The Netherlands is so unpredictable that we’re already thinking about the upcoming winter collections. We always think about new clothes right? Anyway, don’t get me wrong I really hope there will be many summer days to come, that I can go to the beach every single day, or have bare legs till the end of September but a well fitted leather pair of gloves is never a bad idea right? A few weeks ago I got an email of Laimbock about there new LMBK Young collection. I know the brand Laimbock for a while now and always love there leather gloves. However sometimes they are a little bit old fashioned and too expensive for me. The LMBK Young collection will change that! The LMBK Young collection will focus more on the younger generation. During the launch, I directly fell in love with the items. There are many to choose from and they are not expensive at all! The upcoming weeks I am going to combine three different LMBK Young collection leather gloves on my blog. Today I start with part I. I will do this with some other bloggers (it is a kind of battle).
